Responsible for installation, configuration and complete administration of different versions of SQL Server (2008 to 2019)
Apply Service Pack (SP) and hot fixes on SQL server 2008R2,2012 ,2014
Configure log shipping for multiple databases as a part of Disaster Recovery
Configure windows clustering & Always ON
Configure Replication and Database mirroring
Application support for front end feeds and Resolved Application connectivity issues like connection timeouts, connection pooling issues and memory leaks
Extensively work with SQL Profiler, Activity monitor, DMVs, DMFs and DTA to tune the databases, queries, performance related issues like memory CPU and I/O issues
Analyze long running slow queries and tune the same to optimize application and system performance
Configuring and maintaining Log-Shipping and troubleshooting the issues
Reorganize/Rebuilding the indexes at regular intervals for better performance
Implementation of SQL Logins, Roles and Authentication Modes as a part of Security Policies for various categories of users
Involved in troubleshooting and fine-tuning of databases for its performance
Improve the performance of SQL Queries and stored procedures using SQL Profiler
Implemented company policies, technical procedures and standards for preserving the integrity and security of data, reports and access
Database Backup Procedures, Restoration Procedures, Disaster Recovery procedures and Contingency plans
Testing and implementing these procedures
Provide 24/7 technical database support for SQL Database systems
Actively working on AWS Manged services, Where we migrate On Premises databases to Cloud using multiple tools and services like-AWS (RDS, DMS,SCT,PG Analyze) and many more.
