• Leading an org of 30 software engineering professionals for 3 component areas related Cloud Services, Client applications & platform engineering development.
• Currently leading the efforts around achieving FedRAMP High certification for Workspace Security Group spanning across three different internal vertical segments (SPA, DPS/NLS & CGS).
• Driving product and feature development for Zero-Trust based Secure Private Access services and cloud admin console using GoLang, ReactJS and nodejs as the under lying technologies for Azure and AWS clouds.
• Leading the clients application team to develop the functionalities for Secure private access on Windows, macOS/iOS and Android OS platforms. These clients provide functionality for device-posture based pre and post authentication analysis, Zero-Trust access and legacy VPN access.
• Leading Platform Engineering team to develop & manage core infrastructure for Citrix WorkSpace Security group by building capabilities such as Traffic Management, provisioning/updating Kubernetes(k8s) and VM based clusters as well as building the Observability of entire deployment infrastructure.
• Continuous engagement with customers for POCs for Secure Private Access solution as well as resolving production customer issues.
• Involved in defining Annual Operation Plan (AOP) for our group that includes Yearly roadmap, Resource allocation, Cost Management (tool purchases, infra investment etc) & expense tracking

Key Accomplishments:

• Designed and led efforts for innovative solutions like Policy Modeling, ThirdParty Device Posture integration
• Helped progress overall adoption of new SPA solution from 13k Monthly active users to 32k monthly active users within 10 months.
• Collaborated on efforts for COGS optimization for Workspace Security group to reduce the monthly expenses from $670k to $380k over a span of 1 year. Designed and architected the Cost Modeling for Citrix Workspace Security Group as well.
• Led the efforts to revamp the Cloud admin console with-in 4 months for Secure Private Access solution using completely new architecture of Micro-FrontEnds and ReactJS alongwith collaboration from Product Design team. (Continued efforts ongoing)
• Revamped Automation strategy for Citrix Secure Private Access group by pioneering the E2E automation framework by forming a Virtual team across peer teams to bring a common architecture to reduced the manual test execution by approx. 20% efforts . (Continued efforts ongoing)
• Led efforts for Security & Compliance management (SOC2) for WSS group. Streamlined the alerts & monitoring process as well as defined DR strategy for improved product resiliency and achieve 99.98 uptime SLOs.

• Lead a team of 8 direct engineers to deliver cloud-based functionalities for Citrix Endpoint Management service and Citrix Workspace
• Delivered customer requested features that include integration with third party Identity providers (IDPs) such as Okta & AzureAD, reducing hybrid infrastructure footprint and cost by 30% by delivering Connectorless feature.
• Lead the team to architect, design & deliver new authentication modes by integration of third-party Identity provider (IDP) solutions by AzureAD and Okta for MFA as well as to improve Automation and Tech-Debts such as move from Java8 to Java17.
• Lead cross component team to deliver innovative solution of Long-Lived-Tokens & Long-Lived-Password (based on OIDC-connect protocol) for Citrix Workspace Application across Windows and Mac platfroms.
• Lead team in designing, architecting and developing multiple Java based cloud microservices to provide email based auto-discovery for Citrix SecureHub and Citrix Workspace application (CWA) clients as well as allow remote configurations of general settings for CWA
• Managed & nurtured talent in team and grew from 3 engineers to 8.
• Fostering excellent team work culture and driving innovation (with around 9 approved patents from within the team)

• Drove overall program for 'Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops Services' in cloud, 'Secure Browser Cloud Service' and Citrix internal Top-Four project of 'Citrix Managed Desktop as a Service' in Cloud (DaaS)
• Responsibilities included coordinating with product management & engineering leads to help Sprint planning & Retrospectives
• Helped in prioritizing the new features, backlog items, customer issues & Security items for upcoming product releases
• Work with cross functional teams (PM, Engineering., Architects, PD, IX etc.) to identify any dependencies/risks and help find a mitigation plan
• Work closely with product marketing and Support readiness to provide them with the insights about any upcoming features & changes

• Lead the Quality Assurance team for Citrix XenMobile Client team (8-10 members)
• Responsible for delivering quality products of XenMobile MDX framework and XenMobile SecureHub client for iOS & Android OS platforms
• Responsible for delivering Citrix EMM solutions (MDM, MAM & Mixed-Mode) using SSL, SCEP, SHTP and various Authentication techniques such as Client-Certificate, LDAP & Radius and delivering releases every Sprints (Initially started with Waterfall model and improved upon to 2 weeks)
• Involved in functional, Interop, Solutions and Scalability testing for SSL-VPN, Citrix Recievers on Windows & Mac-OSX platforms for Access Gateway Enterprise Edition (AGEE) & Access Gateway Standard Edition (AGSE) products
• Ownership of Engineering public deployments RGTE (based out of FTL) & SOLNS (based out of BLR) for XenMobile and NS-GW product line

• Involved in Functional & Regression testing of IPSec VPN solution for Cat6k & C7600 L2/L3 Routers & Switches at Cisco ODC
• Involved in regression testing of IPSec/IKE along with various routing protocols & technologies like RIP, OSPF, BGP, HA, HSRP, VRF & DMVPN
• Was Involved in Knowledge Management activities for the Business Unit
• Organized Unit wide Functional presentations & Quiz competitions as part of the role
