• Implemented robust file I/O and data parsing using BufferedReader to load data from hundreds of individual year files into an in-memory Database structure.
• Designed and utilized the custom ‘Record’ class, which implements Comparable, to efficiently retrieve and display the Top 10 names for any requested year and sex using Collections.sort().
• ntegrated the XChart library to dynamically generate and display time-series XY line graphs showing name frequency over a specified date range.
