Veterinary Assistant

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist veterinarians in examining, diagnosing and treating animals for various illnesses and injuries.
• Administer vaccinations, medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
• Provide detailed patient care instructions to pet owners.
• Clean and sterilize exam rooms between appointments.
• Restrain animals during examination or treatment procedures using appropriate techniques according to species size and temperament.
• Monitor vital signs of hospitalized animals including temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate, and other parameters as necessary.
• Answer phone inquiries from clients regarding appointment scheduling, and services offered.
• Assist in surgery preparation by setting up instruments, supplies and equipment prior to procedure start time.
• Communicate with veterinarians and staff members to maintain patient flow.

Full-time certified Dog Groomer

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering outstanding customer service to pet owners by executing requests, communicating honestly and clearly with clients, and bringing a positive attitude to work each day.
• Oversee daily operations
• Opening grooming area, including but not limited to setting up area and supplies each day.
• Maintain overall pet hygiene by bathing, drying, clipping nails, brushing teeth, cleaning ears as well as shave, trim, and style pet hair according to pet owners preferences.
• Providing excellent care for pets, being gentle and patient with anxious and/or difficult pets.
• Taking note on what was done to each pet for any changes owners would like for their future appointments
• Always putting the pets health, safety and comfort first and foremost.
• Advise owners on at-home care tips and best practices for their pets
• Keep a clean workplace by sanitizing crates, clippers, blades, and scissors. Also including sweeping after every client and at the end of each day.

Full-Time Shift Lead

Responsibilities Include:

• Greeted customers including answering phone calls, making appointments, and taking note of owners preferences for style and cut.
• Communicated with clients to assure everything was met to expectations if not exceeded.
• Train new staff members as needed
• Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming area
