I worked with SUD patients in an OP clinic at HCMC, also addressing SUDs in patients who were admitted due to heavy substance use and required hospital detox.

The patients I saw in the OP clinic were usually clinically stable and in need of on - going counseling to maintain sobriety.

I saw many patients on a walk in basis as homelessness and housing instability played a large role in their substance use.
