While on patrol, I encountered a male individual lying on his back with a significant amount of blood surrounding him. Upon assessment, I observed two stab wounds, one to the chest and another to the lower abdomen. I immediately initiated life-saving measures by applying direct pressure to the wounds, assessing his vital signs, and working to keep him conscious and alert. My partner assisted by handling radio communications and coordinating with dispatch. EMS arrived within seconds, and due to the prompt and coordinated actions taken by my partner and me, the victim survived.
