Cashier
My role as a cashier was to help provide assistance to check people out and to make sure there aren’t any problems with checking out. I mainly at the self checkouts at Lowes. Other responsibilities I had was ringing up customers purchases and make sure there correct, to let customers know about sales that may be going on, and I was also to try to get people to get My Lowe’s credit to help get people discounts and everything.
Other responsibilities also include
- Helped customers find specific products, answered questions, and offered product advice.
- Greeted customers and answered any questions they had about the store's products and services.
- Answered customer questions and provided store information.
- Worked closely with front-end staff to assist customers.
- Helped with purchases and signed customers up for rewards program.
- Scanned merchandise using point-of-sale system for accurate purchase totals.
- Kept check-out areas clean, organized and well-stocked to maintain attractive store.
- Collected payments and provided accurate change.
- Stocked shelves with merchandise when needed.
- Provided excellent service and attention to customers when face-to-face or through phone conversations.
- Promoted high customer satisfaction by resolving problems with knowledgeable and friendly service.
