I am dependable and diligent, and when it comes to taking on a challenge head-on, I am up for it. I have a passion for engaging in community service, whether it is wrapping presents, volunteering at a blood drive, directly assisting nurses with patients in a hospital, etc. Throughout these encounters, my ability to communicate effectively has been crucial to ensuring that all duties are completed to the highest level of client satisfaction.
Volunteered with Food Well Alliance, volunteering in a community garden for the youth club. Helping the garden by clearing up the weeds, turning compost, and beautifying gardens. The youth club uses their community for feeding all of the residents so this community garden is essential for their nourishment.

PAWS Atlanta is a no-kill animal shelter in Decatur with a mission of building a community of caring, by people helping pets and pets helping people. Volunteer activities ranged from walking and socializing dogs, helping with small building projects, and cleaning/drying the animal crates.
Joined the People for Pollinators to assist the Food Well Alliance with their annual Fruit Tree Sale. All proceeds collected during the sale were sent to local fruit orchards.
BVM Texting Tuesdays:
A texting campaign that allows engaging with residents across the U.S. while empowering them to make a positive impact in their communities. Last year, we sent over 13 million texts educating residents on local elections, environmental justice, police reform, and health care. The campaign was very informative on how you can make a good impact on your community by updating citizens in your community about upcoming voting dates and what poll they're designated for.
Volunteered to serve a meal to individuals or families who are experiencing homelessness. The responsibilities ranged from helping to get the food prepared in the kitchen and greeting the residents with a smile and a plate for them promptly.
Volunteered to help promote a healthy plant community and a sustainable forest in the Agnes Scott Greenspace. The work improved the habitat for humans who use the greenspace for recreation and wildlife that call it home. The physical activity consisted of pulling up vines that were restricting plants from growing while also clearing up the pathway for the wildlife to be able to roam freely.
