Summary

I completed my Bachelor of Accountancy as a non-traditional student, after working as a bookkeeper much of my early years.


I pursued corporate accounting, until I was given the opportunity to join a Right-of-Way project for Oil and Gas. Creating legal documents came natural, but I was also trained to deed plot and review exhibits and title reports for accuracy. In some cases I pulled title, both online and at court houses. I came to enjoy this work very much, but by the time my project ended, Oil and Gas had slowed tremendously.


I went back to corporate accounting until I was offered a position in the Right-of-Way department of a large Electric company in Kansas. I am working on my 9th year as a Document Specialist. Again, I have reviewed exhibits and title reports. I have became familiar with the condemnation process, and have also learned to create project maps in Arc Map and Google Earth. I have supported both Transmission and Distribution projects, as well as the occasional Renewable energy project.
