This letter is to accompany my application for the Chief Operations Officer . I have 20 years of experience in improving operational systems, process and policies while ensuring alignment of operational strategies as a Program Specialist in the Child and Adult Food Care Program (CACFP), Financial Management and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, (SNAP), within The Technology, Nutrition, and Innovative Branch (TNI). My experience allows me to be a great asset in this position.

My experiences include working independently in oversight of program policies and procedures to meet program mission. I monitor and audit program funding to ensure no fraudulent activity takes place. I reconcile annual reconciliations reports involved in program dollars and ensure compliance with grants. My other responsibilities include technical assistance, guidance and interpretation as I support program directors to achieve high- quality outcomes. I also serve as mentor to newer staff. I have participated in SNAP reporting project to ensure cost effective strategies for State Agencies and to ensure that the report is functional for State usage.

My abilities include creating engaging content, analyzing and reporting on FNS dollars for federal programs, and staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices as it pertains to the mission of the Agency.
