I worked for Primates/ASIA section at the Zoo as an intern for the Summer of 2023.

My position was at the Ellen Trout Zoo as a Primate Zookeeper.

The duties included but are not limited to:

• Followed safety protocols to ensure personal safety and well-being of animals and visitors.
• Provided daily care for various animal species, ensuring proper feeding and habitat maintenance.
• Educated visitors about animals and conservation efforts through guided tours and interactions.

Company Overview: Contracted by A.T Stang Advance'd Temporaries, inc; I was contracted by A.T Stang Advance'd Temporaries, inc with an offer to work at the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter (temporarily) while a new hire was wrapping up with the new hiring procedures.

Duties at the Animal Shelter includes ;

• Administered medications to animals in treatment and documented changes in condition-

(example; parvo treatment and testing)

• Reduced stress levels for animals during their stay by creating a calm and nurturing environment that catered to individual needs.
• Mixed and administered special food formulas to individual animals based on unique dietary needs.
• Duties would include fulfilling paperwork and responded to emails regarding pet adoption inquiries.
• Proceeding with necessary procedures for animal intakes.

Company Overview: Operating in primarily miniature livestock :

Texas Based

As a young teen I worked for my mother's miniature farm in Richards Tx. Operating in primarily miniature livestock.

At 15 years old, I had turned my indoor garage into an exotic animal workshop; reinvesting profit made back into my business. I did not only breed my smaller mammals but also the distribution of exotic animals as well. I called my store front "Exotic Paws"

Later my mother and i went through a transitioning from her sole miniature farm "Fawzi Farm" and my sole company "Exotic Paws" combining of both operations in order to proceed expending into a larger business.

• Developed comprehensive marketing plans that integrated multiple channels, including paid advertising, social media, email, and content marketing.
• Streamlined billing processes by implementing efficient invoicing and payment tracking systems.
• Worked flexible hours across night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Monitored animal health to quickly recognize signs of illness and injury, seeking necessary medical attention.

• Fed and watered animals to provide necessary nutrients to keep pets healthy.
• Maintained clean safe living environments for animals by regularly cleaning enclosures and providing proper bedding materials.
• Documented animal's weight, size and condition in computer system as animal intake procedures.
• Managed inventory, reported and/or ordered new supplies and inventory to meet expected needs.
