Creating and leading initiatives based events for the community, while working to solve current issues. Through YAC I have learned valuable communication skills, time management, decision making, and effective teamwork, while working with my peers and adults throughout the community. As part of our 2025 initiative of teaching teenagers valuable life skills, I helped lead a team in hosting a free sewing workshop for kids in Burlingame.

As a member of the award-winning BHS yearbook staff, I am responsible for the copy, photography, and design of multiple spreads focusing on sports and student life. I have a passion for photography, editing photos, and digital design. I have experience across several platforms including the Adobe suite and Photoshop.

• Played games, worked on puzzles, and read books to young children. Helped create positive educational experiences for the kids.
• Communicated positively with both children and guardians.
• Organized and cleaned home after activities by picking up toys and straightening up house, as well as maintained a clean and organized environment to ensure the well-being of children under care. Prepared healthy, age-appropriate snacks and meals.
• Reassured children when upset, providing emotional support and stability.
• Bathed, dressed, changed diapers, and helped with teeth brushing as part of bedtime preparation.
• Handled conflicts between siblings, resulting in a more peaceful household.
• Developed strong and long-lasting relationships with families that led me to many recommendations amongst friends.
