-Fabricate and weld metal components according to shop drawings and specifications
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment such as hand tools, and welding machines
Analyzed and interpreted shop drawings, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and precision of fabricated parts and signage
-Typically working 12 hour shifts in various weather conditions

• Perform FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) and/or SMAW (Stick Welding) in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Successfully complete and perform flat (1F), horizontal (2F), vertical (3F), and overhead (4F) fillet welds.
• Read and interpret welding symbols, weld sizes, and quality requirements.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Safely operate welding equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities as needed.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, fitters, and other production team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Read engineered drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work: locations in space (coordinates), quantities, and sizes of materials required
• Welding using FCAW,GMAW,SMAW
• Identify safety risks and precautions required to eliminate those risks
• Fabricate steel or equipment according to engineered drawings or instructions from supervisors
• Hoist equipment and tools into location via bull rigging or crane
• Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural steel members, using plumb bobs, laser equipment, transits, or levels
• Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following engineered drawings and instructions from supervisors
• Bolt aligned structural steel members in position for permanent riveting or bolting
• Pull, push or pry iron/steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, and welding equipment
