I have been in Law Enforcement for about 12 years, starting with Escambia County Sheriff's Officer, and then transferring to Niceville PD. While in this career, I have done a little bit of everything, wanting to get exposed to as much as I possibly could, from different training courses to having different responsibilities in the field. I also benefited from gaining experience and knowledge from being the lead investigator in the two previous homicides. Of course I had a lot of help with this.
While I was the supervisor for Investigations, I was able to reestablish relations, after a long drought, with the OCSO SIS Unit. I worked under them for 3 months, until I could convince the previous Chief to let my other investigator join them instead.
In 2019 and 2021, I was recognized as Officer of the Year for the Exchange Club. In 2023, I was recognized as Officer of the Year for the City of Niceville.
These are some of the accomplishments I have worked hard for and sacrificed a lot for.
