And the following year, to become sole licensee for PGA TOUR, to manufacturing travel goods for the U.S. region. Also managing offices in Shanghai and Taiwan to monitor the manufacturing process and to ensure all goods are in compliance with various stands required through certification at local product and materials test centers. And working with shipping and logistics on the daily basis.

undefinedDue to my experience working at Golden Gate Fields race track as a California State auditor during my college days, I was immediately recruited after graduation by a Taiwan-based investment company that had acquired the Macau Harness Track. I worked as special assistant to the chairman and was assigned to manage and recruit from U.S. in order to transform the harness track into a thoroughbred track, known as the Macau Jockey Club today. The job entailed recruiting professionals and experts in many fields. From infrastructure to interior design, I was recruiting for all departments and assigned to the position of Paymaster. the only authorized position to access the company bank account. The race track was acquired by STDM Group in 1995, the conglomerate in Macau and HONG KONG.
Through this exceptional experience, I had the chance to engage with Portuguese governmentofficials on daily basis and built a long-time personal relationship.
Two years later, as I saw China on the verge of a booming economy, I organized a group of investors to start an infomercial business in Beijing. Within three years, we expanded to nine TV station contracts and retail outlets in 19 cities. With turnover of nearly US$9,000,000 in annual retail sales and much more through broadcasting contracts, the company was acquired by our Shanghai partner after five years of running. It was a valuable experience that taught me how things get done in China. While 99% of the time was problem-solving, the remaining 1% was still rewarding.”
