Represented insurance carriers and self-insured employers at administrative proceedings before the NYS Workers Compensation Board. This included taking testimony from claimants and witnesses and deposing medical witnesses. Reported results of proceedings to claims staff and made recommendations for future claims handling.

Provided legal advice to contracting and engineering personnel in connection with contracts for materials and services for subway and bus acquisitions and maintenance. Represented the Transit Authority in disputes in state and federal courts arising out of these contracts.

Adjudicated summonses for restaurant health code violations. Took testimony from restaurant witnesses and City health code inspectors and rendered decisions.

Conducted hearings in connection with summonses for parking violations. Took testimony from alleged parking violators and evaluated evidence and rendered decisions.

Provided legal advice to Army personnel in connection with contracts for materials and services for military equipment Represented the federal government in contract disputes before the Government Accounting Board and the Army Board of Contract Appeals.

Represented NYSIF at administrative proceedings before the NYS Workers Compensation Board while attending evening law school classes.

Rendered decisions on initial and reconsideration claims for Social Security Disability benefits after reviewing medical evidence and consulting with medical staff.
