Care and Safety Assistants (CSAs) are certified school safety officers trained in areas such as de-escalation, teen mental health, first aid, and safety procedures.
CSAs are mentors that have deep relationships with students, staff, administrators and families. They are often the bridge between various elements of the school and foster communication between people.
CSA receives training from Virginia’s Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) on topics such as student behavioral dynamics, collective and vicarious trauma, suicide intervention, and emergency response. They also receive training in de-escalation and cultural sensitivity.

Safely driving a specially equipped vehicle to transport patients to and from medical appointments, like hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers, or assisted living facilities, primarily focusing on individuals who are unable to drive themselves due to age, disability, or medical conditions; responsibilities include assisting patients with boarding and disembarking, securing wheelchairs, monitoring their well-being during transport, and adhering to strict safety protocols while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
Responsible for moving freight, loading and unloading merchandise, and maintaining inventory. Ensured that freight is handled safely and efficiently. Move freight onto and off of vehicles, stack it in assigned locations, relocate items within the warehouse, and stack them on pallets or crates.
Report any damage, shortages, or quality issues and ensure inventory accuracy. Perform maintenance on the forklift's oil and water levels, and report any malfunctions. Follow company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
Process ingredients in blending equipment to make batch formulations. Complete required production records and input data into SAP. Set up and start automatic blending equipment, load packaging and raw materials. Pack finished product, perform checks on critical timing of equipment. Make product change-over, package size changes, minor repairs on all equipment. Be responsible for quality and quantity of production daily. Document and record downtime and machine adjustments. Understand and practice loss control of raw and packaging materials. Perform preventative maintenance. Follow detailed procedures and complete paperwork accurately to ensure safe, consistent, and quality products.
Transport vehicles on and off ships and to upgrade areas. Inspect BMW vehicles and maintain proper records and quality assurance documents.
