Dedicated and results-oriented professional with extensive experience in project management and agile development. Proven ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. Adept at translating business requirements into technical solutions and driving projects through the entire development life cycle.
During this tenure led several Spinal Cord Stimulation Therapy releases including the Next Generation Clinician Programmer (Inceptiv). In this role:
My role as a Software Engineer involved designing and developing the SCS (Spinal Cord Stimulation) therapy Android application, automating testing procedures using Groovy scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze patient risks and safety measures, addressing critical application bugs, and leading a team of eight testers in Design Verification Testing, successfully completing two rounds of regression testing for FDA submission.
During this tenure my team embarked on developing a new therapy application for legacy Medtronic devices, slated to replace the current Therapy Programmer, with FDA submission anticipated by March 2019 and worldwide release by July 2019, catering to over 6000 patients using legacy Medtronic devices with a Windows programmer. This release aimed to modernize clinicians' usage of therapy applications within a newer operating system framework
Additionally, I supported Systems Testing, provided maintenance for previous therapy application updates, and leveraged comprehensive knowledge of various Neuromodulation therapies offered by Medtronic over the past four years to tailor applications to user needs and ensure high-quality software delivery.
I was responsible for developing and testing Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) therapy Android software applications, crucial tools used by clinicians to manage implanted device stimulation in patients. These applications prioritized patient safety, high quality, and user-friendly interfaces. My duties included crafting the UI interface in Java, enhancing usability, creating and executing software test designs, identifying critical bugs, and contributing to verification testing processes for FDA submission. Additionally, I collaborated with the Cloud Integration and Systems Testing teams, aiding in testing mobile software applications integrated with cloud services. Moreover, I supported multiple software releases, providing assistance to the testing team for minor updates and improvements.
I worked for Telstra, a telecommunications client based in Australia, where I managed a vast dataset comprising over a million raw records. My primary responsibility was to analyze this data and utilize ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Loading) tools to convert it into a coherent format suitable for reporting purposes. Additionally, I developed and tested Datawarehouse jobs tailored to the client's finance, network, and billing data within an Enterprise Data Warehouse framework. This involved deciphering system requirements, designing ETL processes, and scrutinizing transformed data using reporting tools like Cognos BI. Throughout these tasks, I operated within an agile environment, ensuring adaptability and efficiency in meeting project objectives.
