As a Cook Assistant, I supported kitchen staff in the preparation and execution of high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities included assisting with food prep, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring proper storage of ingredients, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Additionally, I worked closely with chefs to execute menu items, manage inventory, and ensure that meals were prepared efficiently and on time, while maintaining a high standard of taste and presentation.

I also am given a list to complete by the end of the morning on each day that I work. Some of the tasks I have to do are:

• Clean dining areas, including tables, chairs, floors, and windows.
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after service.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Ensure all public areas (entrances, hallways, etc.) are tidy and free of debris.
• Clean behind the bar area
• Sweep and mop all the floors, also vacuum rugs
• I trim the weeds outside and l leaf blow around the building
• Pick up any garbage
• Clean the outside and inside cooler
