Restoring Colorado's Forest Fund Nursery Intern

  • Assisted with the 2023 launch and management of Restoring Colorado's Forests Fund (RCFF) program, which provides no-cost seedlings to landowners affected by wildfires and other natural disasters
  • Updated the program structure from a speculative growing model to grow-to-order to be more cost-effective and resource-efficient.
  • Engaged with more than 50 fund recipients to gain program feedback for marketing and growth to improve the program by 2024 and 2025.
  • Best supported 15 field offices , and supported staff members in their daily tasks, reducing workload burden and allowing for increased focus on higher-priority assignments.
  • Assisted with the 2023 production cycle in the tree nursery that produced hundreds of thousands of seedlings for conservation, restoration, and reforestation.
