Enthusiastic high school student, organized, curious about learning new things, team player, responsible and punctual, who follows the rules, and is eager to volunteer for the community.
After four (4) years of learning and debating with teammates on current geo-political issues and competing against schools across the region, this year I have been elected as a leader of my school's debate team where I will help coach newcomers to debate.
After seven (7) years of learning acoustic and electric guitar, I took on the role of helping my school's guitar club by teaching guitar basics to newcomers to the instrument.
I completed a virtual lab program exploring the railroad industry and the future of motive power, organized by the California State Railroad Museum and the Lemelson-MIT Program. During the course, I researched high-speed rail engineering with my group, and presented our discoveries to educators and professionals from the transportation industry. Results were exposed at the museum.
During 8th grade, I assisted my Middle School's afterschool program by supporting the program's director with organizing activities and communicating with the students.
In 4th grade, I campaigned-for and was elected Ambassador for my class. As such, I represented my classmates before the school's administration where I was advocating for their needs. I also helped promote my school's French-English Dual Language program. This also gave me the opportunity to run for school President in 5th grade which was abruptly interrupted by Covid-shutdown just days following my campaign speech presentation to the entire school.
