Hugo Contreras

• Manages electrical projects, including installation, maintenance, and repairs. They ensure work is done according to standards and safety guidelines. They also train and supervise electricians, and make sure all materials and equipment are available.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise: Plan and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Ensure quality: Make sure work meets specifications and codes
• Manage resources: Order materials, track labor, and manage purchase orders
• Train staff: Hire, train, and evaluate electricians
• Ensure safety: Make sure safety equipment is available and that safety procedures are followed
• Troubleshoot: Diagnose electrical issues and supervise repairs
• Communicate: Meet with design engineers, communicate with other departments, and keep supervisors updated
• Estimate costs: Provide cost estimates and projections for projects
• Review documents: Review electrical blueprints, construction documents, and contract specifications

• Commercial electrical construction experience including EMT & GRC
• conduit installation and MC cable experience. Ability to install
• switch gear, panel and terminate.
• Connect wiring to light fixtures, power equipment, motors, devices,
• and other electrical apparatus, using hand tools and power tools.
• Pulling wire; splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal
• leads with knife or other means, twisting wires together, and
• applying terminal connectors and or tape.
• Test continuity of circuits, circuit wiring to insure compatibility and
• safety of components using test instruments.

• Accurately install conduit, wire, pre-fab assemblies, panel boards,
• light fixtures, devices
