Eagle Scout
As an eagle scout I had to climb through the ranks of scouting by completing tasks such as earning merit badges and learning skills like knot tying. Another requirement is that you have to hold one of the youth leadership positions in the troop culminating in the senior patrol leader who is the senior youth leader in the troop. I had to also complete a volunteer project in which I built a sand volleyball court for my church. For the project I led a team of volunteers to use some power tools and hand tools as well as some heavy machinery. Going through the process of becoming an Eagle Scout taught me to work hard and persevere despite challenges that may come my way. I also learned how to lead small and large groups to achieve the given goal.
