A positive and inclusive classroom environment was fostered to ensure that all students felt understood and valued within the classroom.
I differentiated lessons in order to ensure that all students were appropriately challenged.
Implementation manipulatives within my classroom led to fostering a hands on learning technique that helped ensure student understanding.
I was able to team teach with another educator at this school when teaching math.
Participation in IEP meetings for multiple students within the classroom led to further understanding of what supports were appropriate to implement.
Modified curriculum and instruction was implemented to ensure appropriate challenges for students with IEP's.
Participation in the Building Leadership Team helped me to be able to share my ideas and help build a positive and effective approach to education within the school.
Participation in the PLC or Professional Learning Community meetings allowed me to participate in creating district wide goals to ensure at all second grade teachers had the same goals and understandings for the year.
The use of CFA's or Common Formative Assessments allowed me to assess students and use this data to further differentiate and reteach concepts to ensure an understanding by all students.
Promoted a positive learning environment by establishing clear expectations, enforcing classroom rules, and fostering open communication.
