In this job I worked as a Scuba diver in which I would help o move gear onto boats such as Scuba Tanks, BCDS and other equipment needed for the dives during the day. I also dove 2-4 times a day helping other diving instructors with customers and students learning to dive. I have led dive trips and conducted Discover Scuba training sessions. I was training to be come a divemaster

• During a summer job, I actively participated in fisheries data collection. Working alongside local subsistence fishers during early mornings has been an enriching and eye-opening experience. The predawn hours were a gateway to a world where traditional ecological knowledge and sustainable practices seamlessly intertwined. The collaborative efforts of these fishers painted a vivid picture of resilience and harmonious coexistence with nature. Engaging in tasks such as identifying species, measuring fish lengths, and discussing their preferred locations, allowed me to absorb invaluable insights from the fishers' profound connection to the sea. This experience deepened my appreciation for the importance of preserving local ecosystems and my commitment to advocating for sustainable fisheries practices.
