Throughout my life I have always been doing something and it shows throughout all my certifications. Even though I do not have a degree yet I have not been doing nothing with my time since I was able to buy my house working as a CNA and growing through certifications in 2019. In high school I got a lot of certifications for web page design and general computer repair and graduated playing varsity tennis, afterwards I worked as a dishwasher for Spring Gardens and that's where I started my nursing career; this led me to be an NA (Nursing Assistant), to a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), to a Med Tech (Supervisor/Medication Administration), to an RNA (Restorative Nursing Assistant), to a phlebotomist. In 2019 I went back to working as a med tech to buy my house and after I had purchased it I then got accepted into nursing school. At this time I was working as a PCT taking care of post heart-surgery patients at the hospital in St. George and I had worked in a lot of healthcare settings and had realized that I didn't enjoy it anymore. I have been doing it for three and a half years and as I look at my wife and future I realize that I will need a job that will support us financially and also not be putting peoples lives into my hands every shift I work. Then I remembered how much I loved coding and got back into it with some youtube tutorials and I already have been able to build a simple functional website. This leads me to where I am now since I want to learn more and grow in the field again. I am a very hard worker and a very fast learner that has always been extraordinary in math and science, I love things that are concrete and the idea that when you add two to two it will always equal four. This doesn't mean I'm inflexible however and my time as a CNA has made me that way. When you have to be able to respond to a code blue while also going through your own checklist of things it makes you a master organizer that is adaptable to anything that could be thrown at you no matter how fast it's coming on since nothing is faster than hearing an alarm and knowing that means someones heart has already stopped. I am open to all opportunities and want to learn absolutely everything that I can handle in the field of coding and technology and want to work my way through it the same way I did as a CNA, from whatever I am offered to however far you'll let me learn and grow to.
