Affiliations

  • My senior year of high school I organized and led a youth event that took place in Guntersville called Worship on the Water. This event took place May 15, 2023 where high school and middle school kids came together to worship, fellowship, and listen to a great speaker share the word. I never realized how much goes into an event until I put this one on. I mean first things first we have to plan it so I put together a Leadership team to help plan it, then we have to have somewhere to do it, then it is food for the guests, speaker, worship team, merchandise, safety, and we have to make sure then venue is the correct layout and has enough chairs. And all of this costs money so we had to raise $20,000 in order to pay the venue, band, speaker, to get food, and get merchandise. I am proud to say that around 500 people total came to this event and that Worship on the Water has took place two years in a row going on three.
