Assisted full-time employees and other colleagues in prepping, building and packaging college dorm furniture to be shipped to universities around the United States. Kept work stations cleaned and stocked with materials needed to perform the jobs quickly.

Contributed to the cleaning of casters (wheels) of carts that are seen throughout the factory to carry materials on. This provided the carts the ability to move around better. Drove JLG and Scissor lifts to help perform a variety of tasks around the factory. Locked out and tagged out machines to provide a safe environment for all employees when machines were being worked on.

Contributed to the process of shipping out ordered furniture by sawing cardboard corners, gluing the cardboard corners, and placing the packages on pallets. All pallets were loaded into trailers to be shipped. Assisted in unloading semi-truck trailers as well.

Collaborated with full time employees and supervisors to get packing line tasks done quickly and efficiently, These tasks included keeping the work stations clean, and putting my assigned parts in the box as it went by.

Helped maintain a clean, organized and friendly environment on the premises of the building. Handled operations such as handing out skates, being in charge of music & games, as well as skating the floor to keep a safe environment for everyone. Adapted to a variety of situations and made sure to be welcoming for all guests and parties.
