- Set up and ran first piece as well as bigger orders of complex aerospace parts for companies including ULA, Blue Origin, Leidos, etc.
- Made programming changes at the machine to improve machining process and make the part easier to run for the off shifts
- Ran primarily HAAS 5 axis UMC 750, DMG Mori, and Mazak (C-600) machines equipped with SmoothAi controls
- Ran an Okuma and Mazak I-1050, as well as some Smart Fanuc based machines occasionally
- Used various vices and made fixtures using the set up sheets/programs provided to hold parts to ensure smooth operation
- Adjusted tool offsets and kept up with tool wear to prevent any inefficiencies/ taper/ etc during the machining process
- Lots of experience machining hard/exotic metal alloys including 304/316 stainless, 625 stainless, A286 stainless, Titanium and 718 Inconel
