Hunter Williams

As a Drafter / Estimator at Hammond Lumber I worked my way to being lead estimator for the company. I worked closely with sales staff and management on how to better improve the service that we provided for the sales team. As the lead of the department I was in charge of populating the shared team calendar with projects as they came in. As lead of the department I was also tasked with completing model checks on my coworkers' models to ensure that material lists we as accurate as possible. I have enjoyed the new challenges that have come with being the head of a team. Being the person that everyone turns to when a problem arises, expanding the services that we offer to the sales team, and helping train newer members of the estimating team.
