• COVID-19 Pandemic Surge Plan responsible for the preamble of regular units for receiving COVID-19 regular and Critical patients.
• Introduction of many evidence-based items that contribute in improving patient care and decreasing length of stay (ultrasound-guided PICC lines, CHG portfolio products, Gel Mattresses to prevent pressure ulcers, Close System for urine catheterization to prevent CAUTI, etc…).
• Member in the Donation program responsible for setting up a system and policy for donating items that can still be used in other institutions inside or outside KSA. Working group of Disposable Committee.
• COMMISSIONING AND EXPANSIONS
• KFSHRC-Madinah hospital. (300 beds)
• Complete commissioning of KACOLD, oncology, and liver transplant center. 300 beds.
• Identify needs for medical, and non-medical equipment and supplies.
• Check availability in local and overseas markets.
• Evaluate with users and the technical department.
• Negotiate terms & Condition and prices
• Arrange for user’s hands-on training sessions.
• Provide feedback.
• Complete commissioning of the Department of Emergency Medicine. (112 Beds)
• Place SPR requisitions and follow up for approvals.
• Arrange for deliveries, installation, and commissioning.

• Centralize certain vital equipment/ supplies to be readily available to users and deliver to them on very short notice:
• Centralize and maintain adequate stock of devices to ensure their availability around the clock and to monitor their inventory and preventive maintenance whenever applicable, and that includes but is not limited to: (i.e. Defibrillators, Crash Carts, SCD machines and tubing, Air Mattresses, Feeding Pumps, Thermometers, VS monitors, Hand Held Ultrasound Machines, Portable Suctions, Suction Regulators, O2 FLOWMETER, PULSE Oximeters, Sharp containers holders, Cardiac monitors accessories, etc….) contracts and buddings
• Sitting and chairing contracts and bidding evaluation committees for capital and non-capital medical equipment.
• Lead on the Initiative for optimizing utilization of available resources and decreasing waste in 2021, total Saving of 11.3 M SR.
• IMPLEMENTATIONS AND TRAINING
• Lead a project within KFSHRC to implement the IPROCURMENT (Purchasing) System in the hospital and replace the former ORACLE purchasing system version.
• Safety – Needless Project committee member, implementing a comprehensive sharp-free system, and moving to the safety version of butterflies and IV catheters.
