Huy Nguyen

I am a hardworking and motivated individual with a passion for the electrical trade and hands-on experience in construction.

My journey began with a 1-year pre-apprenticeship program in Building Construction Technology (BCT) at the Home Builders Institute (HBI), where I developed foundational skills in electrical troubleshooting, roofing, drywall, plumbing, and safety procedures. Wanting to build on that experience, I enrolled in the IBT solar installation program with GRID Alternatives North Valley. There, I gained practical knowledge in basic electrical wiring, array layout, fall protection, conduit bending, and solar module installation. Throughout my training, I’ve been recognized for my strong time management, teamwork, and attention to detail. These experiences have not only prepared me for a career in the electrical field but have also strengthened my commitment to contributing meaningfully to every project I take on.
