Ian Gorley

As an Eagle Scout, I've held various jobs both within my individual Scout troop and as a staff member at two different summer camps. These jobs taught me quite a lot about working with people: how to value each employee's individual contribution; how to be a servant leader; how to mediate conflicts and reach compromise. These skills have helped me find success in school and in other jobs, especially in customer service situations. I am currently working on developing these skills further, studying English and psychology with a focus on middle school education, and running cross country and track for my college team.
