One of the joys of being a pilot is having a view of the earth below, the clouds ahead, and the skies above.  It has always been one of the moments where I take the time to consider the river of my life as it has flowed from the headwaters, crashing over rapids and meandering in a flow toward its goal.  And reading has played an integral part in my education.  I have traveled quite extensively in my life, but no travel has been as fulfilling as the journey through literary work.  Reading is as much a part of my down time as sports and physical activity.
