As an installer for Aspen Contracting I am tasked with constructing walk-in coolers and freezers. Ranging in size from a box around 20 feet by 20 feet, to upwards of over 250+ feet long and around 80-100 feet wide. I need to be able to read blueprints to a simple degree to know where to put the walls and the other components that go into constructing the coolers and freezers. Coordinating with my other team members is a very crucial aspect of a smooth experience, another very critical piece of the puzzle I must be able to do efficiently, is knowing what materials do what and when and where to integrate them in the construction process. There are lots of small moving parts that need to be done along the way that greatly improve the overall speed and efficiency of the overall end goal. Details are one of the most important gears in this smooth spinning cog, and are the last part that needs to be completed. This included sealing the box itself and making sure that there are no scratches and blemishes on the panels themselves.
As a dog sitter I am tasked with taking care and making sure that dogs I watch have the most fun and comforting time that they could ever have. I take great pride in making the owners of the dogs I dog sit to be as comfortable with me as possible, this includes contacting them frequently and consistently. Being transparent with them as well is a very important aspect I take into account. When it comes to the dogs they always have a blast because I also have a playful dog, this helps tremendously in the warming up process when it comes to having dogs meet for the first time. I've been doing this for a while now and I have had multiple people come back more than 3 times for me to watch their dogs which shows the level of respect, comfortability, and trust.
As a bar-back for the Brat House I was tasked with assisting the bartenders with service to make it easier for them. I would stock the rail with liquors they needed and other beverages like seltzers and beer. Running and getting ice for the bartenders was among my other bar related tasks. Changing and tapping the kegs would be among the other tasks I was assigned to do. Organizing the cooler, bar area and other outdoor areas to make sure the bartenders had an easy and smooth time, was something that I was tasked with. Food running was probably the most important aspect of what I did other than restocking the bar. My smaller miscellaneous tasks included cleaning the bar top, tables, taking out garbage and bussing tables.
