I've worked 5 summers on top of school breaks working for my dad doing masonry for CIA Masonry. I started working the summer I turned 13. I began as a laborer sweeping floors and providing necessary tools to the masons. I caught on pretty easy to what needed to be done. I slowly transitioned to spreading mortar for masons and taking on a bigger role. The past 2 summers I pushed myself to learn how to lay material in the wall at a steady pace making sure everything was presentable. On top of that I have brought multiple friends to work for the same company and taught them how the job should be done and what was expected of them. This previous summer I was put in charge of the laborers and made sure we had all the materials to do the work ahead of time. I've worked under many different general contractors such as Lingo, FlintCo, Manhattan, Nabholz, Christmans, and several other.
