Winter

• The family owns 35 acres of planted Christmas trees of over 10+ types of trees.
• My main job was to drive around the 4x4 with a chainsaw making small talk with families from all over, asking them if they were ready for me to cut their tree.
• I would then lug the tree back up to the parking lot for them and fasten it to their vehicle however they need.

Summer

• Plumber assistance
• Tapping water mains for houses
• Use of machinery like a sonar leak detector, jackhammer, and pipe saw

Overall

• Being the 'low guy on the totem pole' came with its ups and downs but I always made sure to keep bright spirits.
• Very hierarchical but I managed to bring a smile with me no matter the foreman that was with me.
• Intense use of critical thinking and teamwork to make this small-sized department meet the requirements of a city in need.

Kids 5-13 Outwater Park and Recreation Program

• Created an openly creative environment for groups of kids over the summer.
• Placed with the responsibility of these children's lives from 9-3 Monday through Friday

Goals and Tasks

• Fostered a positive work environment through team building activities, improving overall morale among staff members and children.
