Executive Leader and Senior Program Manager

  • Oversaw the training, development, and readiness for forty-three junior personnel assigned to twenty-two world-wide deployable units of varying missions
  • Supervised, trained, and mentored to over 33 personnel on the career path and training requirements of 40 junior Sailors
  • Additionally, I oversaw the completion/delivery of annual performance evaluations, career development workshops, and disciplinary reporting
  • Re-wrote two separate policy regulations pertaining to annual performance evaluation reports and a policy authorizing junior Sailors to move into off-base housing
  • Both policies directly impacted over 700 Navy personnel and are still in use at the present time
  • Project Lead for the 2023 Eastern North Carolina Navy Ball
  • Led a team of 45 personnel across six sub-committees by providing clear expectations, goals, feedback, clear guidance and empowered the team to make decisions which ultimately led to a successful ceremony attended for over 250 people
  • Overall responsible for leading bi-monthly meetings, maintaining accurate records, overseeing $30,000 in funds raised, and ensuring all aspects of planning and preparation were in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Liaised with the Naval Justice School to plan and execute two separate week-long training conferences on all aspects of naval legal procedures
  • This training equipped Navy and Marine Corps senior enlisted leaders with the skills necessary to enforce regulations

Delivery Expert & Customer Service Representative

  • Worked in a fast-paced environment as a Driver Trainer, Delivery Expert, and in-store Customer Service Representative for two different Domino’s Pizza locations
  • Driver Trainer: Responsible for training new Delivery Experts in all policies and procedures related to Domino’s Pizza, LLC, specifically how to safely and efficiently deliver products in a manner which both exceeds customer expectations and upholds the positive image of the company
  • Delivery Expert: working alongside sixty to seventy drivers, I consistently ranked in the top ten percent of drivers for both turnaround time and amount of time taken to deliver products to customers and return back to the store
  • Customer Service Representative: As the face of Domino’s Pizza to customers, I provided professional customer service, assisted customers with menu selections, and placed orders
  • During both of my tenures in these positions, I integrated seamlessly into non-military employment
  • Quickly adapted to all rules and regulations of the company

Senior Program Manager

  • Ensured programmatic/EEO accommodations were met for service members deployed across the Caribbean, Central American, and South America
  • Project manager for nine separate family retreats
  • Working with an annual budget of approximately $50K, I sought cost estimates from local hotels, drafted performance work statements (PWS) and work breakdown structures (WBS), along with daily schedules for the retreats
  • Worked closely with contracting officers to ensure funds were accurately utilized and aided them in the final process to award contracts to the hotels
  • Additionally, I planned all events for the duration of the retreat, coordinated childcare, and worked with hotel staff to ensure all elements of the schedule were executed in accordance with the PWS
  • Following an airborne parachute mishap with injuries and a separate line-of-duty death, my chaplain and I provided crisis-counseling to dozens of military personnel within the organization
  • This included hospital visits as well as working with an outside Air Force unit to plan for and facilitate a memorial service
  • Working in a team environment to ensure religious ministries and EEO policies were in place and accounted for in operational planning and provided for over one hundred American special forces personnel deployed to Central and South America

  • Managed the Command Religious Program for the military’s premier correctional facility
  • As volunteer coordinator, vetted over a dozen volunteers who provided religious service support and mini-retreats to over 100 prisoners
  • I also built a training program for the Prison Rape Elimination Act and ensured all volunteers were knowledgeable about their role in preventing and reporting sexual assaults within a correctional facility
  • In 2013, the correctional facility earned its seventh consecutive perfect score on the triennial American Correctional Association’s (ACA) certification program
  • Senior enlisted member of the team charged with ensuring all programs, policies, and documents pertaining to religious ministries/EEO were in compliance with ACA standards and Navy regulations

First-Line Supervisor

USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74)

  • Led fifteen personnel by managing and delegating daily tasks
  • Responsible for all supply orders, safety, and maintenance of twelve compartments aboard the ship
  • Earned various qualifications in industrial safety, firefighting, emergency damage control, and shipboard maintenance
  • Responsible for over 100 daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly individual maintenance requirements for eight individual compartments aboard a nuclear-power aircraft carrier
  • Project lead for nine burials at sea
  • Successfully led a team to prepare a total of fifty sets of cremated remains for final burial
  • Additionally, I networked with peers to ensure all positions for the ceremony were filled and provided training to ensure a flawless ceremony
  • During a six-month industrial-level upgrade to the ship, I oversaw planning and upgrades to the eight compartments I was responsible for
  • These upgrades to the ship’s chapel and library/media center allowed for greater quality of life for over 5,000 Sailors

Staff Religious Program Specialist

  • First duty station
  • Putting skills learned from entry level training to use at the historic Naval Aviation Memorial Chapel
  • First assignment in the Navy
  • Initial duties included serving as supply PO, mail orderly (sending, receiving, and distributing mail), overseeing maintenance of three government vehicles
  • Following the catastrophic Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Dennis, our office was responsible for providing religious ministry support and counseling services for over 1,500 military family members who had been displaced from across the Gulf Coast Region
  • Our efforts reduced overall stress amongst the military families
  • Twice a month I was responsible for setting up five Sunday worship services to which over 500 people attended
  • This duty was critical because many attendees were students assigned to the base and had no other options to exercise their First Amendment Right but to attend worship services on base
  • Following several high-profile deaths, including the fatal crash of a Navy Flight Demonstration Team Member (Blue Angel), I was entrusted with the responsibility to prepare the Naval Aviation Memorial Chapel for the funeral service
  • In addition to family of the deceased pilot who attended, many attendees were VIPs and dignitaries from both the Navy, local, and state communities

  • Primary job consisted of managing a budget of nearly $50k, inventorying and ordering supplies
  • Managed a budget of nearly $20,000 for the procurement of religious items, office supplies, and official travel
  • Additionally, I accounted for a monthly allowance of $2,000 in cash for use in day-to-day purchases with local Iraqi vendors and had zero discrepancies on all monthly audits
  • Responsible for the personal protection of multiple military chaplains during ground and air-based convoys to various forward-operating bases
