  • At 7 brew I help manage the culture and people of my shop, just below the store manager. I help baristas become confident in their jobs and help our shift leads build leaders by building them! I help with any customer problems and resolve them. I help people set and reach personal and career focused goals. On the operational side of things I write the schedule, order inventory, and make sure the shop is staying on top of daily and weekly chores. I train baristas and shift leads.

  • Being a barista and shift lead at dutch bros is so much more than just making coffee and directing a crew. I had the opportunity to teach and grow people as humans! I got to teach people how to be a barista from the ground up with no prior experience as well as get them excited and engaged. I would handle customers who would give other people on the crew problems with grace. I directed and led my crews with integrity and intent. Being mindful of how I spoke with people and treated them. As a MOBster (Master. Of. Barista) I had to know the ins and outs of everything, be confident, and be able to teach it. I traveled to different states to open new dutch bros. and teach the values that we strived to serve. Speed, Quality, and Service. It was a super fast paced environment in which I was almost running constantly. Working under pressure and in extreme weather outside snow, rain, heat, ect. I can work with anyone and love connecting with other people.

  • As a hostess I had to know my floor and who was at what table. This restaurant only had family working in the kitchen. Because it was a family run business I was able to start to incorporate things I noticed we needed. On weekend nights I would organize a waiting list because it was needed. I was the only one out there most times with around 15 tables to myself. As a waitress I dealt with problem solving and quick thinking. I was constantly tending to everyone around me. My mind and eyes were always on a swivel making sure all the customers were being taken care of. I was constantly multitasking and moving quickly.
