Ilianna Berrios Rosa

I worked as a Kitchen Helper in a public school for three years. My responsibilities included assisting with food preparation and cooking, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, washing dishes, organizing supplies, and following proper food safety and sanitation procedures. I worked well as part of a team and made sure tasks were completed efficiently and safely.

I worked as a Recess Aide, where I supervised and supported students during recess and throughout the school day. I helped meet the students’ needs, monitored them while they played outside, and provided support when they needed a break or some personal space by walking with them around the school. I also assisted teachers with additional classroom tasks, including printing, organizing, and cutting out homework and learning materials. This experience helped me develop strong communication, patience, responsibility, and teamwork skills.

I worked as a Merchandiser for a hockey team, where I enjoyed providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming experience for customers. Although the position was seasonal and ended when the hockey season ended, I really enjoyed the opportunity. My responsibilities included greeting and assisting customers, helping them find the correct sizes, restocking merchandise, organizing and sorting clothing, cleaning the store area, and making sure all items were properly tagged and displayed. I enjoyed talking with customers, helping them find what they needed, and making sure they had a positive experience.
