● Understand all CDS programs and communicate details of these programs to clients, representatives, families and county personnel.
● Promote systems that ensure appropriate and timely service, and maintain a strong and supportive
customer-focused culture.
● Perform as the first point of a contact for all client interaction including: intake, payroll needs, and problem solving.
● Report to CDS Program Coordinator when problems arise and assist with resolutions based on an understanding of the CDS programs, DHS rules and regulations, and county guidelines for financial management of federal, state, and county funds.
● Remain current with legislative changes, and State and county trends that affect CDS programs; respond as needed by assisting with the development of new practices and procedures. Work with the individual counties DHS and/or other providers to develop CDS best practices.
● Input new budgets and service authorization information, process plan revisions, assist in the
processing of payroll, vendor payments, reimbursements and all other processes that are part of
providing service to the department’s customers; track spending and assist with mailings.
