Maintains database of local pharmaceutical medication assistance programs.
Prepares monthly Financial Coordinator reports to track work progress on a monthly basis; submits to Manager and any other pertinent personnel.
Analyzes patient reports from billing systems as an audit check to ensure the correct insurance information is entered into the billing system and that other changes are not overlooked.
Provides team members with monthly information regarding the details of the patients’ primary and secondary insurance status as well as documentation regarding the plans of action currently in place as required.
Works on preparing waivers as applicable according to pharmacy policies; Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
