Loyola Marymount University’s selective Student Worker Program is a year-round role that combines academic responsibilities with approximately 20 hours per week of campus work. I support university operations daily through tasks such as event setup and administrative assistance, including involvement in large-scale events like Welcome Weekend and Commencement. I developed strong time management, teamwork, and organizational skills while gaining valuable professional experience in a dynamic campus environment.

I supported Black students at LMU by fostering a family-oriented community focused on academic success, cultural programming, and holistic development, while also serving as a mentor to incoming high school students.

I served as a Facility Advisor, which was essentially a customer service role, where I answered calls, directed customers where to go and assisted them, as well as supervising the gym goers and the equipment.
