Inspect, test, repair, and rewind: AC stators, wound rotors, DC armatures, field coils, interpole coils, generators, servo motors, transformers, and a variety of specialty coilsDuties included:

• Diagnostic electrical testing
• Stripping, collecting, and confirming winding data
• Preparing stators and armatures for rewind including insulation
• Winding coils and installing
• Reading connection diagrams and properly connecting or changing connections
• Repairing commutators
• Working with varnish, epoxy, and resins for the dipping process
• Creating custom coil forms
• Repairing leads
• Quoting job times and material
• Completing jobs on time and correctly
• Working on high priority or rush jobs
• Repaired and replaced faulty components, resulting in improved electric motor safety and reliability.
