• Assist the manager in staff management responsibilities including employee selection and training

• Participate in disaster recovery events for all applications, identify gaps and processing procedures

• Complete daily settlement balancing and reconciliation activities utilizing designated applications
• Perform daily funding reconciliation for transactional activity to support customers
• Report application defects internally and support product and delivery managers regarding that as needed
• Assist partners and provide instructions for daily discrepancies and required adjustments
• Perform monitoring and validation within settlement application to ensure processing was timely and complete
• Complete workflow tickets to ensure proper classifications and appropriate level of detail and resolution steps in each ticket
• Work with other support teams to assist them in researching consumer inquiries related to payment transactions

• Manage period close process for assigned area
• Record journal entries (re-class, write-off, accruals, true-up)

Managing AR for 74 Distribution Partners (US and International) and multiple Card Partners

• When necessary working with Accounting, IT, Maintenance Standards and other related business parties such as Customer Service and Account Managers to address Partner questions and concerns
• Handle reconciliation issues
• Working with banks and partners on funds recovery for rejected ACH auto drafts
• Creating write-off journal entries for cards settling to MID
• Own the communications from a centralized mailbox for the partners I am assigned to
• Coordinate necessary adjustments resulting from recon/research with the appropriate teams and partners
• Testing a new reconciliation tool and providing detailed analysis of discrepancies and factors triggering them
• Doing cash apps, cash moves, write-offs for customers in Microsoft Dynamics AX

• Initiating weekly adjustments for open and closed loop cards
• Validating refund requests from alliance and card partners
• High volume transaction and card level research and reconciliations
• Creating journal entries to general ledger (re-class, write-off, accruals, true-up) in Microsoft Dynamics AX managing the month close process for assigned area
