  • Assists with communicating with clients and service providers who have contacted ISAC through the intake line or web referrals, this includes phone/in-person screenings and intakes.
  • Provide navigation support to immigrant and refugee clients with assorted referrals and paperwork including, but not limited to applications/renewals for government benefit programs, community resources and appointment assistance navigating the health care and K-12 education systems, assisting clients in scheduling appointments with providers, and advocating on the client's behalf for access to interpretation with service providers.
  • Assists with communication with clients, partner agencies, and external providers. Regularly working through an interpreter.
  • Constantly alert to cross-cultural interference in dealing with clients and behave in a culturally sensitive manner in order to be able to respond appropriately to the cultural characteristics of the clients.
