Summer 2022 - Emergency Pediatric Ward

• Explored the processes of lab analysis and what the most common diagnosis were within patients under the age of 15.
• Observed and learned the process of note taking during rounds.

Summer 2023 - Neonatology

• Assisted nurses and doctors in postpartum specialized care, vital sign evaluation and observation, and collection and sorting of blood samples.
• Proposed solutions to issues within hospital community environment
• Maintained accurate records and documentation of baby's weight, height, and other evaluations.
• Collected and input information into database system.
• Maintained overall sterile environment by assisting midwives with incubator sanitation.

Donated $1,500 in diapers, liquid anti-bacterial soap, and bedding.

• Created a book titled Inside of Our Pockets, composed of different works of literature written by students across the states
• Sold books and donated proceeds to hospitals and charities $500+ donated to Kibagabaga District Hospital and Ukraine charities

• Conducted systematic review for statistics about pregnant individuals & technology's impact on adherence to prenatal checkups

Crochet, Specialty Drink, and Clothing Design Business

• Collaborated with Trend Notes Wholesale Fashion Company to design and sell clothing that promotes mental health and animal shelter awareness
• Gathered $3,000+ IN FUNDS
• Donated 200+ drinks to Crean Lutheran High School during International Week Events in collaboration with their Korean Student Association
• Donated $1,500+ to Kibagabaga District Hospital in Kigali, Rwanda in diapers, liquid anti-bacterial soap, and bedding for Neonatal ward
