Isaac Durepo

Throughout my lifetime, I have always enjoyed solving problems. From a young age, taking things apart to see how they worked became my source of entertainment. Now, I understand the benefits of that through my work experience at Ace Hardware/ Rather than flipping burgers or folding clothes, I was able to apply my problem solving skills to create solutions for the customer's everyday needs. Whether that was designing a plan for a customer to fix his dead grass or advising a customer to use a certain material for an outdoor project, coming up with solutions allowed me to learn while helping others. Along with this, my leadership on my high school varsity sport's teams has allowed me to learn how to communicate with people, listen to other's opinions before making a decision, as well quickly estimating the best way to overcome challenges. Overall, my past work and social life has benefited me with the skills necessary to learn, complete tasks, and solve problems that need solutions.
