Strengths
· Meeting People and Companies where they are at in their Agile journey. First, observe to understand then tweak as necessary. There is no one right way to implement Agile. Observe a team or company to understand it's culture, desires, and goals, how it operates, and it's current understanding of Agile. Then devise and implement an action plan based on their weaknesses and overall goals.
· Pragmatic / Realistic – Straightforward with the facts and setting sensible and realistic expectations, goals, and time frames. Using facts and identified patterns to forecast the completion of work and established deliverables.
· Perseverance / Determination - Despite delays, changes of plans, and setbacks I work to find a way to achieve the goal while minimizing rework and waste of time and resources.
· Collaborative/Team Player – Ensuring that all parties, departments, stakeholders, and the team have a voice and their voice is heard during refinement sessions, planning, and general discussions so that realistic goals and expectations can be set and achieved across the board at all levels.
· Empathetic Listener – Naturally putting people at ease when talking with them, I talk TO people NOT AT them. Ensuring that all voices and opinions are heard, and debated, and then realistic expectations are set. While driving ownership and accountability among the team, stakeholders, and leadership.
Weakness
· Patience – I’m impatient because I have high expectations for myself and others. To counteract my impatience, I ensure that realistic and reasonable goals and expectations have been identified, and set within the time frame provided and are openly communicated between all levels between the teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
