- As a student-athlete, my life revolved around discipline and consistency on and off the playing field. Being disciplined in waking up every morning and getting to practice on time, helping others in the gym, and helping each other grow, as well as leading one another to achieve team success.

- At Camp La Junta I worked as Activity Director, Cabin Director, and Head of team. As an Activity director, I programmed the activity in a safe and efficient manner that resulted in the safety of the kids and ensured fun for all who participated, while also maintaining and building relationships with my co-counselors.
- As Cabin Director, my job was to oversee a group of ~25 middle schoolers and was entrusted to disciplining the group and reporting back to my superiors in the activities the kids participated in and any reporting of any problems above my stature.
- As Head of team, I oversaw ~150 kids, from kindergarten to middle school, and was in charge of leading, motivating, encouraging, and making the best decisions for these kids and helping them not only win, but to help them learn valuable life lessons such as honesty, fairness, and teamwork.
